project description
The brief for this Rajouri Garden residence was direct: a home for a family that has earned the right to live well. The question underneath it was more demanding — how do you bring genuine warmth to a large apartment without softening it into something generic? The answer was discipline of palette and precision of light. Dark walnut panelling, cream marble, and layered cove lighting were used together as a single material system — each amplifying the others. The coffered ceiling treatment, carried through every principal room, provides rhythm without ornament. The master bedroom anchors around timber and restraint; the living room around considered volume and an empty centre. Nothing was added that did not earn its place.
